New Ticket & Hotel Discounts Offered for 2026 Summer & Fall

Disney World has announced a slew of discounts that they’ll be offering for the coming summer and fall seasons. This coincides with a few of their “Cool Kids’ Summer” announcements and is part of a big push to liven up the summer months. In this post, we’ll share the details of each discount offered.

The release of numerous discounts was not a surprise as the 2026 summer was always going to offer some incentives for visiting. Over the last few years, June-August have been much quieter than other years. Pairing that with a decline in tourism numbers and no major expansions opening meant that Disney would get creative. Along with Cool Kids’ Summer coming back and a few major re-openings and re-themes, the discounts offered are strong! Here’s what is offered, guests can’t combine these offers.

Free Dining

The very popular free dining promotion is back in 2026! Here are the details:

Enjoy a free dining plan when you purchase a nondiscounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at a select Disney Resorts Collection hotel and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option—for arrivals select nights from:

  • June 28 to October 3, 2026
  • October 19 to October 31, 2026
  • December 6 to December 21, 2026

Packages may be available for longer lengths of stay. Book by April 30, 2026!

Guests staying at Deluxe Resort receive the Disney Dining Plan while guests staying at Moderate or Value Resorts receive the Quick-Service Disney Dining Plan. Those with the Quick-Service option can upgrade to the standard option while purchasing the package.

Dates & Ticket Usage

Tickets may not be used to enter the same theme park more than once. All tickets and options are nontransferable and nonrefundable, and exclude activities/events that are separately priced or not open to the general public.

Save 30% On Rooms This Summer & Fall

Two different room discounts are now offered but they are very similar. The early summer discount runs from May 1st to July 29th while the late summer/early fall discount runs from July 30th to October 3rd. Both of them offer:

  • Save up to 30% for stays of 5 or more consecutive nights
  • Save up to 25% for stays of 1 to 4 consecutive nights

Generally speaking, the Deluxe Resorts offer a larger discount than the Value Resorts. There are a few exceptions, including All Star Sports and Coronado offering 25% off instead of the 20% offered by other moderate and value options. Annual Passholders Save Up to 40% Off This Summer & Fall

A similar deal is offered to annual passholders, with the dates matching for summer and fall.

  • Save up to 40% for stays of 4 or more consecutive nights
  • Save up to 35% for stays of 1 to 3 consecutive nights

The hotels in each category remain the same as above, with most Deluxe Resorts in the 40% off range and others are 30 or 35% off.

Commentary

There are a lot of offers and details to comb through there! As usual, picking what will fit you and your travel group will take some research to maximize savings. All of the deals are worth exploring but I’ll give some quick thoughts.

The Free Dining Plan offer is always buzzy and popular. For good reason, we like food! If you’re planning to dine at a number of table-service restaurants then Free Dining could very well offer the best discount. But I’d offer some caution before jumping into it. Kids (3-9) already dine free in 2026 if you purchase a Disney Dining Plan for those older in the room. If you’re going to WDW and have 2 kids under 9, it might be just as cost effective to get a room discount and then purchase the Disney Dining Plan for the 2 adults in the room.

The other word of caution is that the DDP does offer a large amount of food! Don’t get me wrong, that can be enjoyable, but you’re saving on something extra instead of saving on tickets or lodging. Do the math and see what makes the most sense to you.

Other discounts offered are strong. If you’re staying off-site but going to Walt Disney World this summer then the Magic Ticket is a no-brainer. If staying on-site then the room offer will save you more than the Magic Ticket.

It’s good to see that Disney World is aggressively offering discounts and hopefully this is the first move among many to start to market to the middle class more. While prices will likely continue to increase on tickets, strong discount offers can go a long ways in offsetting those. This is a strong start!
