Cool KIDS’ SUMMER is back at Walt Disney World Resort starting May 26 through September 8. After starting last year, Disney has brought this back as a way to market to families over the summer break. There are a number of smaller entertainment options offered to pair along with some major ride re-openings and re-themes. In this post, we’ll share the details of Cool Kids’ Summer!

Before we get to everything that will be offered, let’s talk a little bit about Cool Kids’ Summer. You’re going to see that title a lot, both in this blog post and then from Disney in the next few months. Is it a good name to encompass everything that’s offered at WDW this summer? They’ve definitely come up with worse! I think it’s kind of catchy and a little bit silly, which Disney World needs more of.

Along with the offerings below, Disney will also be re-opening Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin (April 8th) and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (early May) before all of the cool kids show up. The Mandalorian retheme will open at the Millennium Falcon on May 22nd followed by Soarin’ Across America on May 26th Later in the summer, the Muppet takeover will come to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and the Disney Animation Experience will open at Hollywood Studios.

Here are all of the other additions attached to Cool Kids’ Summer. I’ll share the news for each and add in commentary where I see fit.

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station

Bluey and Bingo are on their way to Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Starting May 26 and staying beyond Cool KIDS’ SUMMER, guests can play games and dance with Bluey and Bingo at Conservation Station.

Once guests hop off the Wildlife Express Train, it’s time for fun. Play special games directly from “Bluey” episodes, grab a photo with Bluey and Bingo themselves, and even discover animals native to Bluey’s home country, Australia, at “Jumping Junction.” 

This Animal Kingdom experience comes a few months after the Disneyland Bluey addition. We’ll have to wait and see how similar they are. I hope this will give the Conservation Station a shot in the arm, it could certainly use it.

As an aside, it’s strange that all of these things are opening the day after Memorial Day. I would have expected the Thursday before. Maybe this shows that WDW already has more booking than expected for that time?

Cool KID’S SUMMER at EPCOT

GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall

This summer, join Goofy for a party packed with laughter, movement, and just the right amount of silliness. From the moment the music starts, kids can jump into DJ-led dancing where wiggly moves, freestyle fun, and big belly laughs are all part of the routine. There’s no wrong way to dance here — in fact, the goofier the better!

Beyond the dance floor, families can dive into interactive games with playful, topsy-turvy twists. Think Loopy Limbo that keeps everyone guessing and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks that turn classic playground favorites into larger-than-life adventures. Every activity is designed to get kids moving, giggling, and making unforgettable summer memories.

I can tell that I am no longer a ‘cool kid’ because there are so plenty of things in the previous paragraph that I don’t understand. I am young enough to remember playing with a parachute in PE when I was in grade school and hope the kids have fun doing that with Goofy. It seems like a good time!

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!

Get ready to Mousekedance!  Coming May 26 and staying beyond summer, a brand-new show is stepping into the spotlight at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and it’s packed with toe-tapping fun for the whole family.

Inspired by Disney Jr.’s global hit series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, this high energy celebration invites everyone to the ultimate party at the Clubhouse. Mickey and Minnie are all set for the big bash…but there’s just one tiny problem – their pals haven’t arrived yet!

That means it’s time to hit the road! Join Mickey and Minnie as you help track down Goofy, Daisy and Pluto in an adventure filled with catchy original songs, interactive moments and plenty of chances to clap, cheer and dance.

Jessie’s Roundup: A Rip-Roarin’ Revue

Young deputies are invited to mosey on over to the Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom for a rootin’ tootin’ good time. Just for this summer, join Jessie, Woody, Bullseye and more Toy Story pals for an energized roundup with songs, dance, games, and other playful activities.

A Disney Springs Dance Party

When visiting the Marketplace on select nights, break out your best dance moves during a party featuring hits from Descendants: Wicked Wonderland and Camp Rock 3, in celebration of the new original movies coming to Disney+ this summer.

Cool KIDS’ SUMMER at Disney Water Parks

Disney Friends Make a Splash at the Water Parks

What makes a Disney Water Park even more fun? Characters, of course! Just for the summer, guests can meet Goofy in his laid-back beach style at Blizzard Beach or catch Stitch spreading playful chaos at Typhoon Lagoon.

Returning this summer, guests of Disney Resorts Collection can enjoy free admission to one of our two water parks on the day of their check-in for free. Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open this summer and guests will have the choice between the two of them.

Deals & Discounts This Summer!

As we detailed earlier today, Walt Disney World has released a number of discounts and ticket deals for the summer. With the summer focused on smaller offerings, re-openings and re-themes, offering hefty discounts makes sense for WDW. This should make a trip far more manageable, with the ticket deal being one of the best Disney has offered in some time and the hotels discounts being a high percentage. Even Free Dining is offered for an extended time!

Despite not having a major expansion in 2026, Disney World has done a nice job of offering something special for the summer. The cool kids should have a good time and I hope everyone else will too!
