Last week, Disneyland Resort raised prices on a number of different tickets. While the increase was milder than we expected and we ended up being fairly positive about this particular annual increase, no one wants to pay more money when they don’t have to. Good news, you don’t have to! Until October 19th, guests have the ability to buy Disneyland Resort tickets at their old price. We share how in this post along with other discounts available.

The long and short of it is that Get Away Today, an authorized third party ticket seller and a partner to Wandering in Disney, is currently holding their Better Than Black Friday Sale. This offers Disneyland tickets at their old price as well as includes several other discounts. Before we get to far, in full transparency, we are an affiliate of Get Away Today and purchasing through them via us does earn us a small commission. That said, we wouldn’t be recommending them if this wasn’t a good deal. Purchasing through our links does help this blog exist so thank you for considering it.

The Better Than Black Friday promotion runs through October 19th and includes tickets that are up to $75 cheaper than current gate prices. Those savings aren’t necessarily $75 for each ticket, but all multi day tickets are less than buying directly from Disneyland. Along with the prices staying at the pre-increase rate, Get Away Today also currently offers an ‘adults at kids’ prices’ promotion. Those two offers are combinable through October 19th and will lead to the biggest savings. There are next to no savings on single day tickets.

Here’s a breakdown of this promotion price compared to buying directly from Disneyland:

1 Park Per Day Tickets:

• 2 Day – Get Away Today Price (through October 19th): $323/ticket, Disneyland Price: $335/ticket
• 3 Day – Get Away Today Price (through October 19th): $397/ticket, Disneyland Price: $425/ticket
• 4 Day – Get Away Today Price (through October 19th): $448/ticket, Disneyland Price: $480/ticket
• 5 Day – Get Away Today Price (through October 19th): $480/ticket, Disneyland Price: $520/ticket
• Note that the Get Away Today 5 day price comes from the Extra Day Free Promotion while the 2, 3, and 4 day prices are from the Adults at Kids’ Prices Promotion

Park Hopper Tickets:

• 2 Day – Get Away Today Price (through October 19th): $422/ticket, Disneyland Price: $445/ticket
• 3 Day – Get Away Today Price (through October 19th): $506/ticket, Disneyland Price: $550/ticket
• 4 Day – Get Away Today Price (through October 19th): $563/ticket, Disneyland Price: $610/ticket
• 5 Day – Get Away Today Price (through October 19th): $611/ticket, Disneyland Price: $660/ticket
• Note that all Get Away Today Prices are using the Adults at Kids’ Prices Promotion

As you can see, there’s significant savings in these promotions. Guests will see the biggest savings when buying a 5-day Park Hopper ticket with Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Those are $760/ticket through Get Away Today’s Adults at Kids’ Prices Promotion, while they’re $835/ticket buying directly from Disneyland. That’s where the “up to $75 in savings” comes in. Granted, it’s for the most expensive ticket that we don’t always recommend.

If you’re planning to travel to Disneyland Resort for a multiple day trip before December 31st, 2027 then buying these tickets now is well worth it. These tickets are good until then (technically even longer, since you have 13 days after first visit on December 31st). Additionally, Get Away Today tickets are refundable within 365 days of purchase and have no blackout dates. Guests will have to pick a date when they buy the tickets but that doesn’t mean much, as it is separate from making a Disneyland reservation. Don’t get hung up on the date with Get Away Today unless booking a package.

Speaking of, all of these ticket discounts are combinable with packages. Guests can save up to an extra $50 with Bundle & Save when they book their Disneyland hotel & tickets together. Add code WANDERING to any package on Get Away Today to receive an extra $10 off.

There are several Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels that are offering a 4th night free promotion through Get Away Today. Those include multiple price points and several hotels that are within a mile of the parks.

Finally, for those that have already bought tickets, guests can add Park Hopper or Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Get Away Today’s discounted prices! There isn’t a huge difference in the Lightning Lane increased prices but it does add up for the Park Hopper addition. Guests just need to call for the addition after confirming availability on their specific date.

As I’ve said, all of these deals last through October 19th. After that, the ticket price increase will come into play. Unfortunately, there aren’t any of these deals at Walt Disney World, where the price increase was more prevalent. But for those on the west coast, there’s very little downside in purchasing these tickets if you’re planning to visit before the end of 2027.
