The 2026 D23 Expo Parks Showcase was update heavy but still contained plenty of excitement. The show was hosted by Neal Patrick Harris with help from Thomas Mazloum, a host of Imagineers, and some surprise guests. Many details were revealed on existing projects and a few brand new announcements were made. In this post, we will share links to all of those announcements.
Between all of the updates and new announcements, we easily topped double digit new posts. Even more will still be added in the coming days! Eventually, they will all have commentary. We start with the news and then try to add on throughout the week. By the time you get to this post, a number of articles will already have the commentary added. Saturday was a late, late night. I was thankfully not back in a college dorm room but the Big Gulp full of Mountain Dew and a variety of snacks around my desk might have had you thinking otherwise.
I’ll spoil some of my commentary here. The night was fun! The show was goofy at times and more of a production than it needed to be, almost like Neil Patrick Harris was trying out to host the Oscar’s. Wait, that already happened. I also dreamed that Beck was there? But I was pleased with the content of the majority of the announcements. There could have been more dates given but the details were interesting and the meat of the presentation seemed tuned in on what fans actually wanted to hear more about.
Once we’re all caught up on commentary and the news (there’s lots to do!) then I’ll add in a post or two about my thoughts on the D23 Expo and how attending was. As always, we’re very thankful to be able to go, see new and old friends, and that people come to this website to read about the news and our experiences.
