Three Bridges Bar & Grill is a table-service restaurant above the water at Walt Disney World’s Coronado Springs Resort. Three Bridges was included in the Gran Destino Tower expansion in 2019 and takes its very literal name from the bridges that connect over Lago Dorado. The restaurant is all open air and a more casual setting than many sit down restaurants in Walt Disney World. Three Bridges Bar & Grill takes part in the Disney Dining Plan as 1 table-service credit (although it’s not a great value on that plan) and also offers discounts to annual passholders and Disney Visa cardholders. This post reviews the restaurant’s atmosphere, cuisine and value.

Walt Disney World has been home to a wealth of great expansions over the last decade but few have been a surprise hit like the Coronado Springs additions. While being built, I was vocal about my dislike for Gran Destino towering above everything. Frankly, I still don’t love the outward aesthetic of that addition. Everything else that has been done at Coronado Springs since 2019 has been exceptional including the restaurants.

The main reason behind the Gran Destino Tower being built was to make Coronado Springs into a strong convention resort. That has worked! In doing that, Disney World smartly realized that the hotel would need a rebuffed dining scene. New bars and lounges were put into the tower. Toledo was added to the top floor and remains one of the best restaurants in all of Walt Disney World. Existing restaurants were given a glow up and Three Bridges Bar & Grill was added outdoors along the water.

All of those restaurant additions were smart in that the overlap between them was minimal. Just looking at the table-service restaurants, Toledo, Maya Grill, Rix Sports Bar and Three Bridges all offer something distinct and fit different price levels. The additions have been a boon to the resort, with Three Bridges Bar & Grill being the cherry on top.

One thing that Coronado Springs has always had going for it, even pre-expansion, was space. The beautiful walkway around the lagoon has been a hallmark since opening in 1997. Putting a casual restaurant in the middle of that water was a no brainer and fits the resort’s relaxed style.

Three Bridges also does something that we’d love to see more Walt Disney World restaurants do – it stays open late. The restaurant’s hours are routinely 4:30 to midnight, making it available after a long park day or for convention goers who are ready to get outdoors. Having the open air restaurant open late means that diners miss the hot Florida sun most of the time, as well.

The restaurant is designed to show off those evening views of Coronado Springs, with the majority of Three Bridges facing the Gran Destino Tower and the front of the hotel. A wood ceiling protects from any of the unfriendly elements, be it a downpour or that sun sneaking in a few last beams.

Being outside and showcasing the rest of the resort means that decor around Three Bridges isn’t in your face. The center of the restaurant has a nice bar with a few TV’s to watch whatever sporting event you might be interested in. On both sides of the bar, as well as out toward the water, there’s a variety of seats including standard dining tables, lounge seats and a large fireplace. It’s clear that sections of the restaurant could be roped off for private events while still keeping the rest of Three Bridges open to other guests. It’s a casual layout but with plenty of thought put into it.

That the restaurant fits so well into the bridges it connects to is a testament to the design. They aren’t trying to do too much here but it’s still pretty. There’s some purple mood lighting and a few very modern touches to blend into the Spanish and American southwest design of the resort. The sleek space is adaptable, similar to Geyser Point Bar & Grill at Wilderness Lodge. Neither of these spots would be considered peak themed design at either resort but they definitely aren’t detractors and end up being great hang out spots!

My favorite part of Three Bridges atmosphere is that it’s both lively and relaxing. That’s exactly what I want when dining here after a long night of taking photos in Epcot or walking miles at Animal Kingdom. This spot is inviting and fills the late night dining void at Coronado very well.

Moving to the food, here’s a link to the menu. The most expensive entree is $30 at Three Bridges, which is a nice change from the majority of table-service restaurants in Walt Disney World. The majority of the offerings are around $25 with appetizers about $15 and desserts around $10. In other words, this restaurant is one of the better value plays in the whole resort.

We’ve tried a few appetizers at Three Bridges, both chip and dip focused. The first was the House-made Guacamole with Blue Crab Escabeche. This comes in at $14 and doesn’t skimp on the Blue Crab. We enjoyed the Guac, which was very creamy and had some added flavor from the seafood. This wasn’t our favorite appetizer but was still strong. The chips for both of these dishes were delicious, on the lighter side and with the right amount of salt.

We don’t recommend the Guacamole in large part because the White Queso and Chorizo Dip is superior. Topped with Roasted Peppers, there’s a little bit of heat with the Queso but it’s still approachable even for those that don’t like spice. The Chorizo adds the majority of the flavor and pairs well with the cheesy dip. This is also $14 and will be something that we come back for often.

Moving to the entrees, this is the Three Bridges Signature Pressed Burger topped with Bacon, White Cheddar, Caramelized Onions, Roasted Garlic Aïoli, Arugula and served with Smoked Paprika Fries. They knew we were sharing this and were nice enough to cut it in half for us. This is on the short list for best burgers we’ve had in Walt Disney World. I don’t think it quite tops the Steakhouse 71 or Wailulu burgers but it’s in the conversation.

The White Cheddar and Roasted Garlic Aïoli are the standouts here, both tasting very fresh and adding a punch to the hearty taste of the patty and Caramelized Onions. I wouldn’t go so far as to call this a smash burger but apparently ‘Pressed’ is the next size up. I mean, I’d rather be pressed than smashed so it makes sense that pressed is a little thicker. They aren’t trying to reinvent the wheel with the ingredients here but everything was delicious. Also, the Smoked Paprika Fries are some of the best fries we’ve had in Disney World. The Paprika seasoning is excellent.

While we’re talking about red meats, this is the Steak Frites. At $28, this is one of the best values in all of Walt Disney World. No, the Char-grilled Market Steak isn’t the highest quality at the resort (go up to Toledo for that) but it’s prepared very well and served with a delicious Chimichurri on top. I’m still shocked this is only $28. This is served with more of those fantastic fries and a few greens on the plate.

On the lighter side of things, this is the Villa del Lago Chicken Berry Salad. There’s a lot going on here, with the salad consisting of Grilled Chicken, Mixed Greens, Citrus Segments, Seasonal Berries, Chili-Lime-dusted Cucumbers, Cotija Cheese and topped with an Orange Honey Mustard Vinaigrette. We both really enjoyed the dressing, as it gave a sweet zest to the salad. The only knocks on this is that the chicken was forgettable and there might be a little too much going on. Overall though, this is a really good salad and a nice way to get your veggies and fruit intake while at Walt Disney World. That’s not always an easy task. The salad is $19 with chicken and $23 with steak.

The restaurant offers a unique cocktail list. I tried the Cold Brew Old Fashioned consisting of SelvaRey Chocolate Rum, Tia Maria Coffee Liqueur, Joffrey’s™ Mexican Femenino Cold Brew, and Hella Cocktail Co. Orange Bitters. In my odyssey to try all of the Old Fashioneds at Disney World, this one will end up being forgettable. I liked the hints of chocolate and orange but the actual cold brew wasn’t my favorite taste. There are plenty of other great options on the menu though!

What I keep coming back to with Three Bridges Bar & Grill is that it stays open late and offers a great value. They aren’t quite counter-service level prices but it’s easy to order a filling meal for two and spend $60 instead of the $100 that’s required at many WDW restaurants. It likely won’t be the best meal you’ve ever had but it will be delicious, fresh and well prepared. The setting is relaxed and versatile, offering a great spot to hang out with friends, go on a date or relax during a work trip. We’ll be back to Three Bridges Bar & Grill many times over the years thanks to the convenience, tasty food and great value.
