Cool Kids’ Summer is back! If you aren’t sure what I’m talking about, don’t worry. Most people don’t. Walt Disney World debuted Cool Kids’ Summer last year, offering a mix of deals and fun, interactive entertainment for (cool) kids. Now the humorously named event is back for 2026. That includes some exceptional deals on tickets and rooms at WDW. In this post, we’ll share those deals as well as details on what will be offered at Cool Kids’ Summer!

There’s a lot of ground to cover here. We’ll start with the deals and discounts offered.

Free Days Added to Your Stay

You can get two free room nights and theme park days when you purchase a select 4-night, 4-day (or longer) Walt Disney Travel Company room and ticket package.

That means at least six days to experience Disney World, which is around the ideal amount of time for a family trip as it saves some of the rushing around and time crunch. This deal is available for visits most nights May 26 through September 15, 2026, and can only be booked January 6 through February 15, 2026.

Disney Resort Deal

You can save up to 30% on select Disney Resort hotels for stays most nights May 1 through October 4, 2026. View offer details beginning January 6, 2026.

Florida Residents and Annual Passholders

We have special deals for you, too! Florida Residents can save up to 35%, and Annual Passholders can save up to 40% on rooms at select Disney Resort hotels this summer. View offer details beginning January 6, 2026.

Visit a Water Park for Free on Your Check-In Day

Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel between May 26 and September 8, 2026, can enjoy free admission to one of the Walt Disney World water parks on their check-in day. Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open during this time, so you can choose between the two water parks!

Free Dining Plan for Kids

All of these offers can be combined with a delicious deal. In 2026, you can get a free dining plan for kids ages 3 to 9 when you purchase a package for you and your children that includes a dining plan for guests ages 10 and up and a room at a Disney Resort hotel. With a dining plan, you can enjoy the convenience of prepaid meals and snacks during your vacation.

To be clear, the Free Dining Plan for Kids promotion is offered throughout all of 2026. It’s a great deal and even better since that deal is combinable with other promotions!

Bluey and Bingo at Conservation Station

Your favorite blue heeler is on her way to Animal Kingdom! Beginning summer 2026, you can play and dance with Bluey and Bingo as they take an excursion over to Conservation Station.

Once you hop off the Wildlife Express Train, get ready for fun. Play special games directly from Bluey episodes, grab a photo with Bluey and Bingo themselves, and even discover animals native to Bluey’s home country, Australia. Toy Story Pals at Diamond Horseshoe

Just for Cool Kids’ Summer, pals from Toy Story are ready for a rootin’ tootin’ good time at the Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom. Join Jessie, Woody, and friends for some energetic fun at Jessie’s Roundup, where you’ll craft, dance, and yodel your hearts out in this western revue.

Judging by this description, it appears that Diamond Horseshoe won’t be a table-service restaurant for the summer? It looks as if this will be more of a kid’s zone, where they can hang out, meet characters and do activities. That’s not a bad change, as Magic Kingdom can always use more indoor areas for kids to hang out during the summer. That’s especially true with the area across from Diamond Horseshoe under construction.

GoofyCore at CommuniCore Hall

A Cool Kids’ Summer special, you can dance and play along with the Goof Troop, DJ Dance Pants, and Goofy himself during wacky activities at CommuniCore Hall at EPCOT. Goofy’s Game Machine brings silly, kid-approved games like Goofy Says, Balloon Bonanza, and Parachutes ‘n’ Pipsqueaks.

GoofyCore coming back is no surprise but it brings me some joy. Anytime you can put DJ Dance Pants out there for the (cool) kids to get down to, you have to do it! Frankly, there’s a lot of phrases in that description that don’t make a lot of sense to me but any practical use of this space works for us.

Character Appearances at Early Entry and Resorts

Special surprises are in store for all Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests during their daily 30-minute early theme park entry period (valid theme park admission and a park reservation, if applicable, required). This summer, characters will be available across all four theme parks during this period. Be sure to visit each theme park across different days so you can see them all!

For summertime only, guests staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will have even more experiences and amenities designed for families with young children, including scheduled visits from favorite Disney pals.

More Walt Disney World Summer Fun!

All of these deals and details are in addition to the previously announced summer lineup coming to WDW. That includes the Muppets takeover of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, Soarin’ Across America, a Mandalorian and Grogu infused Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, redone Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Big Thunder and more! For not having many big projects opening, the schedule is surprisingly full. That’s something for all of the cool kids to be excited about.
