The Oriental Land Company and Tokyo Disney Resort have announced additional details for Tokyo DisneySea’s upcoming 25th anniversary. Earlier this year, “Sparkling Jubilee” was announced as the theme of the landmark anniversary and now we have a few more updates on what to expect over the year. In this post, we’ll share the details from Oriental Land Company while adding our own commentary.

The anniversary will run for nearly an entire calendar year, from April 15th, 2026 to March 31st, 2027. The actual 25th anniversary of the park will be on September 4th, 2026. Stretching out the event for a year isn’t out of the norm, as we’ve seen with Disneyland Resort’s ongoing 70th anniversary. As I’ve discussed before, “Sparkling Jubilee” isn’t my favorite name but it’s meant to symbolize “that the park’s sparkling stories will continue to shine for years to come.”
Here are details on the unique offerings coming to the park for this anniversary:
Sparkling Jubilee Celebration
Disney friends celebrate the 25th anniversary with guests in “Sparkling Jubilee Celebration” presented at Mediterranean Harbor. Dressed in their Jubilee Blue colored outfits, Mickey Mouse and his friends greet guests aboard a specially decorated barge. They sail into the harbor, joined by Disney friends waiting at Piazza Topolino, Lido Isle and in front of Zambini Brothers’ Ristorante. When Mickey signals to count up to 25 with the guests, the festive mood is enhanced even more. Cast members from other themed ports also join in, and everyone comes together while accompanied by “Come Join the Jubilee,” the theme song of the 25th anniversary. The show will take place daily, sometimes multiple times per day, and will last for about 15 minutes.

There’s a long list of participating characters for this harbor show. They include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Duffy, ShellieMay, Chip, Dale, Clarice, Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Geppetto, Gelatoni, StellaLou, ‘Olu Mel, CookieAnn and LinaBell. That’s so many characters to wave at as they sail passed on their floats!
These harbor shows have become a subject of fascination for me over the years. That’s not because I think they are the pinnacle of themed entertainment but because of the absurdity. Reading the description and thinking about the crowd counting all the way to 25 with the characters made me chuckle while sitting in the coffee shop I’m in. That’s quite a bit of counting but I don’t doubt that everyone watching will be into it.
Dance the Globe
At Waterfront Park in American Waterfront, preparations are being made to launch a new stage show “Dance the Globe!” to be presented from January 14, 2026. This will be the first time in approximately 12 years that an entertainment program will be presented on stage at Waterfront Park. The show will take place multiple times each day and lasts around 25 minutes.
Guests will be invited to celebrate rich cultures and vibrant entertainment, with a festival to showcase a variety of dance and music styles from countries near and far. Mickey and his friends, along with amazing dancers, will present a series of captivating performances from exciting places around the globe, and maybe even places from our imagination too.

The show will include rhythmic dance styles that evoke the vast African savanna, a charming performance reminiscent of a European festival, and cheerful numbers themed to Latin America. The show features special appearances by characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios films such as Rapunzel from Tangled, Hiro from Big Hero 6, and the Tokyo DisneySea debut of Mirabel from Encanto, as well as the dancers who join the celebration.
Guests, Disney friends and all performers unite in a celebration of various cultures through dance and music. During the anniversary event period, Disney friends will appear in special outfits themed to the event as pyrotechnics light up the sky, culminating in a dazzling conclusion.
This is the addition I’m most looking forward to at the anniversary. Tokyo DisneySea could use more stage shows and adding one to American Waterfront should help out some of the park’s congestion. Perhaps more importantly, the show seems charming and fits in with the broader DisneySea theme. If anything has the chance to outlast the anniversary, Dance the Globe is it.
Decorations & Experiences
Across the park, guests will discover Jubilee Blue decorations themed to Tokyo DisneySea 25th “Sparkling Jubilee.” The park’s entrance, DisneySea AquaSphere, will feature decorations with designs of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the 25th anniversary logo. Passaggio MiraCosta will be adorned in a vibrant display of anniversary decorations, while each themed port will feature Jubilee Blue decorations.

When night falls, Mediterranean Harbor will be transformed with “Sparkling Jubilee Night.” The walls of Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta will be transformed with a special image projection accompanied by the 25th anniversary theme song “Come Join the Jubilee.” The courtyard at Arabian Coast will be illuminated in Jubilee Blue, accompanied by the 25th anniversary theme song and other music. These offerings will run exclusively during the event period to gently close a day of celebration at Tokyo DisneySea.

If Dance the Globe is the show I’m most looking forward to, then the decor is what I’m most curious about. DisneySea’s seasonal decorations (be it Christmas, Halloween or other festivities) are tastefully done without ever imposing on the park’s theme. Having the decor stretch to different sections of the park will be unique and interesting to see. In my mind, it will work in some areas better than others but I wouldn’t expect it to be in your face in many of the ports.
Specialty Menus
Guests can enjoy a festive dining experience at Cafe Portofino in Mediterranean Harbor and Horizon Bay Restaurant in Port Discovery, both of which will feature special 25th anniversary decorations and special sets ahead of the anniversary event from April 8, 2026.

During the event period, the celebration extends to American Waterfront, where Sparkling Jubilee Wagons will offer exclusive Jubilee Blue macarons. Look forward to other new special menu items, including sundaes and special drinks, all vibrant in Jubilee Blue.
From April 15 through June 30, 2026, a special program celebrating the 25th anniversary called “S.S. Columbia Jubilee Gala” will be presented at S.S. Columbia, the luxury ocean liner at American Waterfront. During this period, the S.S. Columbia will be reserved exclusively for the enjoyment of guests taking part in this program.

With the interior of the ship specially decked out for the event, the program includes special dishes served in the S.S. Columbia Dining Room, free refills of drinks served at The Teddy Roosevelt Lounge, exclusive merchandise included in the program, commemorative photo opportunities and other unique offerings for a truly grand experience.
Jubilee Blue Memories
A special themed installation in dazzling Jubilee Blue color will be presented on Ponte Vecchio, a bridge in Mediterranean Harbor, for a limited period from April 15, 2026. Guests who purchase a special bottle at Rimembranze, a shop located on Ponte Vecchio, will gain access to the installation. They can select a “Jubilee Blue Stone” to store in their bottle and take home. Guests will also be able to take keepsake photos at the installation for a unique and lasting memory of the 25th anniversary.

Special Merchandise
Ahead of the anniversary event, special 25th anniversary merchandise will be offered starting April 8, 2026. This lineup features items with sparkling designs depicting Disney friends celebrating the 25th anniversary at the parks adorned in Jubilee Blue decorations, as well as simple, everyday items incorporating the signature Jubilee Blue color.

Additionally, the Jubilee Badge, a key item commemorating the 25th anniversary, will also be available for purchase starting on the same day. Guests can combine their favorite badge, ribbons and charms to create their very own unique Jubilee Badge. Duffy and Friends special merchandise themed to the 25th anniversary will also be available from April 14, 2026.

Cast Members & Special Greetings
Guests visiting Tokyo Disney Resort will be greeted by cast members wearing Jubilee Blue nametags, setting a festive tone from the moment they arrive. Cast members stationed in each themed port will carry uniquely designed Jubilee Blue flags, reflecting their specific area. Guests can approach these cast members and capture memorable photos with the festive flags, creating cherished souvenirs of their visit.

To further enhance the celebratory atmosphere at Tokyo DisneySea, guests will have the opportunity to receive commemorative stickers along with detailed leaflets designed to help them make the most of the special anniversary event.
I like that Tokyo DisneySea is promoting these little moments. Cast Members getting in on the fun should make for high morale all around and cause for more interaction.
Theme Song
As usual, Tokyo Disney Resort will add a festive theme song to the event. These are always catchier than they should be! I hum the Duffy & Friends theme as well as the Fantasy Springs theme to myself all of the time without even realizing. Tokyo DisneySea will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a theme song titled “Come Join the Jubilee.”

Featured in the entertainment program “Sparkling Jubilee Celebration,” the atmosphere projection program “Sparkling Jubilee Night” at Mediterranean Harbor, and other offerings, this theme song is built upon sparkle and vibrant festivity, designed to evoke both the unique elegance of Tokyo DisneySea and the lively excitement of the celebration. “Come Join the Jubilee” celebrates the many stories that have unfolded in the park’s 25-year history, and expresses wishes for beautiful journeys to continue into the future. Guests can look forward to enjoying this theme song in addition to the programs offered at the park.
Hotel & Monorail Decor
Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta and Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel will welcome guests into spaces adorned with dazzling Jubilee Blue-themed decorations from April 8, 2026 through March 31, 2027. As a special memento of their stay, each guest room will offer two distinct postcards with special designs, perfect for commemorating their visit.
Guests staying at either hotel will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase a card key and key case set in a special design, featuring Disney friends elegantly dressed in Jubilee Blue attire. Select Disney hotel restaurants will also present elaborate special menus, crafted with gratitude to celebrate this milestone.

Disney Resort Line will feature the Tokyo DisneySea 25th “Sparkling Jubilee” Liner monorail trains with a special design in celebration of the park’s 25th anniversary. Additionally, limited-period day passes with a design themed to the special event, as well as souvenir medallions with special Disney Resort Line designs will be available.
We’re looking forward to Tokyo DisneySea’s 25th anniversary. While the celebration lacks a huge headliner, like a new ride or nighttime spectacular, it does appear to feature plenty of additions throughout the park. I think that will be well worth checking out!
