Well, that was eventful! In a boisterous, celebrity filled and sometimes over-the-top presentation, the D23 Expo provided heaps of news for Disney Parks fans. The best part, as Josh D’Amaro said early in the 2+ hour long presentation, is that these are not blue sky ideas. Instead, all of these are working projects that will happen. It’s possible that something might not work out but it seemed clear that Disney heard the call from fans that we wanted actual, real life plans. In this post, we’ll share links to all of those plans!

In total, we have 15 different posts about the 2024 D23 Expo Disney Parks news. Over the next few days, I’ll be adding commentary to each of them. That process has already started. Spoiler alert for my own writing: My commentary will be mostly positive! While we predicted some of the news ahead of time, there were also some surprises along the way. More than anything, I’m just excited for the massive investments coming to the Disney Parks.

Once we’re done with all of the individual posts, I’ll add in my thoughts about the Expo and Parks announcements as a whole. The future of the Disney Parks is much brighter than it was just a couple of days ago. And that’s not just because we didn’t hear the word ‘turbocharge’.
