Commentary

I’ll keep the commentary brief, as we’ll update our actual Party Guide this summer. We’re really not too far away from that, as August 9th is early! But that’s become the norm, as the party is only starting a couple of days earlier than last year. While starting so early is always over the top, I can’t say I have much outrage about it. People like the Halloween Party and as long as the demand is there then Disney will be happy to offer a hard ticket event. Do I recommend wearing a costume in the middle of August in Orlando? No, but you probably sweat less than I do!

As for the new additions, they are minor but I like them. The Mickey & Minnie costumes are cute and will look great in the dark. Do I recommend taking part in a dance party in the middle of August in Orlando? No, but you probably sweat less than I do! Shoot, I already told that joke.

Moving the parade earlier in the party is nice for families and should make the later hours even less congested. It would be nice if they offered the parade 3 times a night but that might be asking too much.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party continues to be one of the best hard ticket offerings at Walt Disney World. While the price is steep, the entertainment is a blast and there is plenty to do. We recommend getting your tickets early if you know what dates you want because some days will sell out quickly!
