Along with news about Epcot’s Festival of the Arts and Walt Disney World discounts, Disney also released dates and details about the 2027 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. The springtime festivities are an annual tradition at Epcot, featuring beautiful topiaries, gardens, and entertainment. This post will share the dates and details for next year’s festival.
2027 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival Dates
Returning from March 10 to May 31, this fan-favorite celebration fills EPCOT with breathtaking gardens, stunning character topiaries, fresh flavors and live entertainment. Those dates mean that the festival will be a week shorter than last year, as it starts 6 days later thanks to Festival of the Arts being extended.
As we detailed in the previous post, we’re good with that tradeoff. We love both of those festivals but Arts doesn’t always get the love it deserves because of the fewer dates. We’d prefer that Flower & Garden stretches into June since Epcot is festival-less during the summer but that doesn’t appear to be happening in 2027.
Here’s a first look at some of the experiences returning in 2027.
Topiaries, Gardens, and Exhibits
One of the most beloved traditions of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is the chance to experience the park in full bloom. Get ready to discover eye-catching topiaries inspired by some of your favorite Disney characters, vibrant gardens, and thoughtfully designed floral displays that add color, charm, and breath-taking backdrops that will make every single one of your photos pop!
Garden Rocks Concert Series
Be sure to put on your dancing shoes and warm up your vocal cords because the Garden Rocks Concert Series in America Gardens Theatre will have you moving and grooving. The 2027 lineup will feature an unforgettable mix of chart-topping artists and Orlando’s blossoming local talent.
Admission to see your favorite act is included with EPCOT park entry, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. For those seeking guaranteed seating, dining packages will be offered, allowing you to enjoy a meal at select EPCOT restaurants before the show.
Once the lineup is announced for the concert series, we will share it here!
Outdoor Kitchens
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is a foodie’s paradise! The festival’s beloved Outdoor Kitchens will return in 2027, offering fresh, garden-inspired flavors from around the world. With returning favorites and brand-new dishes, there’s something for every palate. We’ll share the menus once they are released!

- The Honey Bee-stro Garden Hosted by The National Honey Board™: Learn about honey bees’ critical role in the environment, and enjoy sweet and savory treats made possible by their hard work.
While there’s no confirmation that these experiences will be back, we would expect most, if not all, of them to return.
Is the Flower & Garden Festival worth making a special trip for? How much extra time will I spend in Epcot due to the Festival?
There’s no hard and fast rule for these questions. If you enjoy plants more than the average person then the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is definitely for you. Even if you’re not that into plants, like me, then you will still probably find the festival interesting, informative and beautiful. Is it worth making a special trip to Epcot for? Probably not, unless money isn’t an issue or you live close by. But, if you’re planning a trip and are somewhat flexible in timing then spring might be a good choice.

As far how many hours or days to allot for Epcot when the Festival is ongoing… That answer is even more tricky. I think you could fill up just a day exploring the Flower & Garden portion of Epcot as well as the World Showcase Pavilions. More realistically, if you’re planning for a day and a half at Epcot on a normal trip, I’d just make it two full days. If you have kids, that may be pushing it but I think most adults could easily spend 2 days at the park experiencing Epcot and Flower & Garden.
We love Flower & Garden Festival and think it adds a boost to Epcot, making it more colorful and interesting. I look forward to it every year and am excited to see the 2027 iteration. Visiting in the early spring, before the weather gets too hot is one of my favorite Epcot experiences.
