Today brought our first look at Epcot’s 2027 festivals, including a reveal of the Festival of the Arts dates and details. This is our favorite of the four festivals Epcot offers with visual, culinary, and performing arts showcased throughout the theme park. Good news! 2027 will see Festival of the Arts run a week longer than last year. In this post, we’ll reveal dates and details on next year’s edition of the festival.

We adore Festival of the Arts at Epcot. It’s our favorite of the four offered throughout the year at the park, narrowly edging out Flower & Garden Festival. While Food & Wine has felt a little soulless over the last few years, Festival of the Arts is rooted in showcasing different art forms and does it quite well. Here’s the news along with some additional commentary.

2027 EPCOT Festival of the Arts Dates

The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts made its debut in 2017, making it one of EPCOT’s newest seasonal celebrations. Known for the blending of visual, performing, and culinary arts, it has quickly become a must-visit festival filled with interactive photo ops, unique food creations, iconic paint-by-numbers murals, and artwork by Disney artist displayed throughout the park.

You’ll also be able to experience the one-of-a-kind DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series. This year, you can once again let your creativity run wild from January 15 until March 1.

Last year, the festival ran from January 16th through February 23rd. I’m not a math wizard but I’m fairly certain that 2027 will offer a whole extra week. Personally, we’re thrilled about this news. We’ve already made plans to be at Walt Disney World for the Princess Half Marathon Race Weekend on February 26-28, and we’re trying to figure out how to squeeze Festival of the Arts into that trip. That won’t be a problem now since it will still be going.

Adding dates for the festival does come as a little bit of a surprise and at the expense of the 2027 Flower & Garden Festival, which will be a week shorter than the 2026 version. While we love that festival, as well, we’re okay with the tradeoff. Festival of the Arts can feel forgotten because of the late January start date and the post-holiday lull. Extending it for the full month of February should help get more visitors to experience it.

Not all of the details on the 2027 festival have been announced but here’s a few things to look forward to!

Experience Disney on Broadway at EPCOT

During the DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series, the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure pavilion comes alive with unforgettable performances. Musical stars come to EPCOT to perform the iconic songs they helped bring to life on Broadway stages alongside other showstopping favorites.

Every two weeks, a new pair of performers takes the spotlight, making each visit to the festival a fresh experience. Stay tuned for the full lineup of stars, which will be revealed on a later date.

The concerts take place several times each evening, providing you with ample opportunities to enjoy your favorite performances. Admission is included with EPCOT park entry, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. For those seeking guaranteed seating, dining packages will go on sale on a later date, so you can enjoy a meal at select EPCOT restaurants before the show.

Embark on a Quest with Disney Lorcana at Festival of the Arts

Calling all Illumineers! Disney Lorcana TCG returns to the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts in 2027 with exclusive festival offerings, including promo items and gifts with purchase available only at the event. You can also enjoy the return of fan-favorite experiences like the Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt, the Collection Quest, and the Illumineer’s Lounge, making this year’s festival a must-visit for Disney Lorcana fans.

Food Studios

Each year, the Food Studios at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts showcase culinary creativity at its finest, blending the artistry of flavor with picture-perfect presentation.

For the 2027 edition, look forward to savoring 19 Food Studios located throughout the park.

Artists Coming to Festival of the Arts

Every year at the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, you can experience artistry in action. See magic being created at the Chalk Art Galleries, watch in awe as artists paint Disney Characters in mere minutes and hear harmonious sounds around the park from talented musicians.
