Tokyo Disney Resort has released details on their 2026 Christmas Season, including entertainment, attraction overlays, specialty food, and more! The holiday season will run from November 11th through December 25th. In this post, we’ll share everything that’s coming for the holidays at Tokyo Disneyland, DisneySea, Ikspiari, and the hotels.

Like every other Disney Resort, the holiday season makes Tokyo Disney even better. The decor alone makes everything feel more festive, and that’s before adding in the special entertainment and overlays. Chances are that if you’re planning to visit Japan from the states before the end of 2026 then you already have dates picked out. But, if you’re on the fence about visiting Tokyo Disney Resort during their Christmas festivities then we highly recommend going!

We should mention that Tokyo Disney Resort’s holiday season doesn’t offer quite as much in the way of decor as the stateside resorts. Most of that is due to cultural differences. Having said that, nothing about the holiday season is a letdown at TDR. Many locals treat this season as a way to dress up and enjoy the most wonderful time of the year. For those familiar, it’s kind of like a Jollywood Nights vibe but during regular park days!

There’s also plenty of extra entertainment and extras to look forward to. We’ll share all of those below! As the holidays get closer, we’ll have our own guide to the parks. For now, here are all of the 2026 details.

Guests will be able to enjoy the special event Disney Christmas at Tokyo Disneyland Park and Tokyo DisneySea Park from November 11 through December 25. The Disney hotels, Disney Resort Line, and Ikspiari will also offer exciting programs themed to the holidays. We’ll start with one of Tokyo Disneyland’s main offerings!

Toys Wondrous Christmastime! (Tokyo Disneyland)

Presented at Tokyo Disneyland will be “Toys Wondrous Christmas!”, a daytime cavalcade that features 6 floats and runs for about 45 minutes on the parade route. Stops are made between Westernland and Frontierland, the Plaza, and between Tomorrowland and Toontown.

Santa Claus and his merry elves have been busy at the toy factory, getting toys ready for all the children. The shiny new toys join Mickey Mouse and his friends for a fun-filled and magical celebration.

The parade begins with Santa Claus’ toy factory, where the toys are being made, and features Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pete, as well as teddy bears dressed up for Christmas, toy vehicles, wooden blocks, dolls and a nutcracker marching band.

When the toys are delivered to the children, Disney friends come up with an idea for the toys and the children to play together, bringing heartwarming moments to the Christmas celebration. When everyone is filled with smiles and happiness, the Disney friends, Santa Claus and the toys celebrate together, creating a truly magical and unforgettable Christmas.

Disney Christmas Greeting (Tokyo DisneySea)

Again this year at Tokyo DisneySea, guests can enjoy “Disney Christmas Greeting” presented on the waters of Mediterranean Harbor. Sailing into the harbor on a festively decorated boat, Mickey Mouse, Duffy and other Disney friends are joined by Santa Claus to dance and sing along to Christmas music and share the joy of the season with everyone. This Harbor show is offered twice each day and lasts for about 15 minutes.

Other Seasonal Entertainment at Tokyo DisneySea

Continuing from last year, three atmosphere entertainment programs will be presented at American Waterfront in Tokyo DisneySea. “Christmas Carolers” will treat guests to beautiful a cappella renditions of Christmas songs, “Holly Jolly Trio” will serenade guests to clarinet and accordion as they stroll around American Waterfront, and the lively “Holiday Wonder Band” will get everyone in the holiday spirit with their cheerful musical performances.

Nighttime Spectacular Christmas Touches

Once again at Tokyo Disneyland, a special Christmas version of Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights will be presented, and at both parks, guests can watch the night sky light up to the backdrop of festive music with the spectacular fireworks of “Starbright Christmas.”

Christmas Decor

At American Waterfront in Tokyo DisneySea, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree will be set up with Jubilee Blue decorations featuring the logo of the 25th anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea. Additionally, the Christmas tree at the park entrance will greet guests with Jubilee Blue decorations.

World Bazaar at Tokyo Disneyland will also be decorated with a Christmas tree, and the park entrance will feature special decorations themed to “Toys Wondrous Christmas!” for the first time.

Attraction Overlays

From November 1, 2026, through January 16, 2027, Country Bear Theater in Tokyo Disneyland will present the special Christmas version, “Jingle Bell Jamboree.” Guests can enjoy a fun-filled revue as the Country Bear Band performs a selection of cheerful winter songs to ring in the Christmas season. It is not hyperbolic to call this the best Christmas concert ever.

Additionally, Haunted Mansion at Tokyo Disneyland will be transformed into the special Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare” program from September 15, 2026, through January 7, 2027. This overlay is almost the exact same that you’ll find in Disneyland! It’s very well done and a great addition to the park.

Holiday Menus & Merchandise

Christmas-themed menu items will go on sale beginning on November 1. Camp Woodchuck Kitchen in Tokyo Disneyland and Lookout Cookout in Tokyo DisneySea will offer holiday party buckets packed with chicken dishes, snacks and more, allowing guests to enjoy the holiday atmosphere anywhere in the parks while indulging in festive fare.

Various shops at both parks will also offer a new hot yuzu-matcha drink: a warm matcha beverage with a subtle hint of yuzu, making it perfectly suited for the season. Other holiday classics, including the Special Drink (Strawberry Milk) and chocolate churro, will also return to set the Christmas mood.

This year, for the first time, a popcorn bucket designed after Li’l RingRing will go on sale. Guests can pair the popcorn buckets — which include straps decorated with Li’l RingRing and bows — with mini snack cases for a fun display of the Christmas elf in varying sizes.

Lastly, the Jolly Food Plaza will make its debut at the plaza in front of Cinderella Castle in Tokyo Disneyland. There will be food booths and wagons offering a variety of special menu items that are perfect for Christmas and eating on the go, including stollen-inspired cookies, shepherd’s pie, cheese pretzels and donuts.

Disney Christmas merchandise will be available at both parks starting from November 10, ahead of the special event. The lineup features Christmas items with designs of Mickey Mouse and his friends, as well as plush badges, wearable items and other merchandise that feature Li’l RingRing, a Christmas elf, dressed in soft pink and green.

Duffy & Friends Making Winter Warm

The Duffy and Friends’ Making Winter Warm program will be presented at Tokyo DisneySea from November 2, 2026, through January 13, 2027. The story takes place on a cold, snowy day, featuring Duffy and his friends at home enjoying knitting together.

From November 2 through December 25, merchandise and souvenir items depicting Duffy and his friends wrapped up in their handknitted scarf and plush badges of LinaBell in Christmas attire will be available for purchase.

Additionally, merchandise and souvenir items from Duffy and Friends’ Our Little Snow Friends, featuring snowmen designs inspired by Duffy and his friends, will go on sale. Special holiday decorations featuring Duffy and his friends will also appear at the park.

Tokyo Disney Resort Hotels During the Holidays

From November 1 through December 25, restaurants at Disney Ambassador Hotel, Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta, and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel will offer special menus themed to Disney Christmas. The creatively conceptualized menu items will delight guests both in taste and appearance.

Additionally, from November 11, the Disney Hotels will feature decorations and light displays tailored to each hotel’s theme, creating a festive holiday atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a special, heartwarming Christmas moment at the Disney hotels.

Christmas Monorail Wrap!

Beginning November 11, the Disney Resort Line will feature monorail trains with special Disney Christmas designs to wrap everyone aboard in the holiday spirit. Guests riding the monorail will also receive exclusive, specially designed Christmas stickers starting on the same day.

Additionally, from November 10, guests can participate in a Christmas-themed stamp rally and purchase limited-edition day passes. Souvenir medals with holiday-inspired designs will also go on sale on November 11. Guests can look forward to celebrating a magical Disney Christmas all along the Disney Resort Line.

Christmas at Ikspiari

Ikspiari, the shopping, dining and entertainment complex by Maihama Station, will set up a fir Christmas tree at Celebration Plaza again this year. Christmas trees, wreaths and festive illuminations will also adorn Ikspiari, and shops and restaurants will offer items perfect for Christmas gifts and exclusive seasonal menus.
