Every few weeks our writers get together and answer a Disney Parks related question. Here is this week’s edition!
QUESTION OF THE WEEK: In honor of Endgame coming out, what Marvel character would you most want to see have an increased presence in the parks?
Melissa – Black Widow. You can’t go wrong with Scar Jo. She is one of my favorite characters and I think she deserves a ride of her own!
Leslie – Loki! I think Villain interactions are super fun and they could do it sort of how Anna and Elsa are set up, a mixed greeting with Thor so you can meet Odin’s sons. Plus the interactions between the two of them could be hilarious. Also more merchandise would be awesome.
Matthew – I also am in favor of Scarlett Johansson walking around the parks. Otherwise I don’t have a huge attachment to any of the characters. The Guardians of the Galaxy crew seems like a natural fit, and Thor is always a good guy to have around. I think the best answer though is to have a gigantic Hulk running around smashing things. Not sure how this would work, but it needs to.
Andrew – I think Iron Man lends himself to the best attractions or experiences. Being the first Marvel film character of note and also the most famous plays a role, as do some of his powers. Being able to fly around could make for a good ride. That’s my realistic answer. What I actually want is Korg (the rock guy from Thor: Ragnarok) to hang out with me, whether it be at a Disney Park or playing video games.
Mackenzie – I would love to see Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff wandering around. She is pretty cool and I would love the chance to get to interact with her.
Darin – If you want to go all out, build Wakanda. It’s the most interesting of the worlds in Marvel. If you want to go normal you could have a trippy Doctor Strange ride. If you want to give little to no effort make the Guardians of the Galaxy have a dance party, which may or may not exist.
Now it’s your turn to answer. What Marvel character would you like to see have an increased presence in the parks? Let us know in the comments below. Looking for help planning a Disney Parks trip?
