Commentary
We’ve seen a few of these performers live before and specifically recommend Kissy Simmons and Ashley Brown. No matter when you go, we think you’ll enjoy the show. Every time we’ve seen Disney on Broadway at Festival of the Arts we’ve come away impressed by the performers, regardless of who they were. I’m even more pleased to see that they’re offering shows every single night and not just on weekends.
While we love the shows, I’m not sure a dining package is necessary to enjoy them. We’ve never had much trouble getting a seat for the latest showing of any of these. If you’re on the Disney Dining Plan and already planning for a meal in Epcot, then going for the dining package makes sense! Otherwise, I’d save a little bit of money and just go to these concerts via the standby line.
Finally, it’s cool to see Epcot add an exhibit to go along with these performances. It remains to be seen on how elaborate that space will be but it should bring more light to the Broadway performances. Here’s hoping this is another nice add to an already excellent festival!
