Commentary

That’s already a pretty lengthy and wordy read so I’ll keep my commentary to a minimum here, as there will be plenty of chances to comment on these as they go by. Despite the wordy news drop, I do appreciate that there’s a schedule out already for everything happening through all of 2024. I know OLC does this largely for fiscal planning but it’s nice for guests to be able to plan around.

There isn’t anything about Fantasy Springs in this release that we didn’t already know. I guess a minor personal announcement is that we will be there within a week of the new land opening, if we don’t make it to a preview before that. We’re so excited for this new land to open.

BatB carriage night TDL

Perhaps the biggest news from this schedule release is that there will be a new nighttime show debuting at Tokyo Disneyland this autumn. While I wish they would have pushed it to match up with Fantasy Springs to give both parks a little bit of intrigue, having a show at the park will be a great addition. Including the first ever mention of Marvel at Tokyo Disney Resort is a little nugget too. I’m not sure those parks hold any room for a Marvel expansion but it’s something to keep an eye on.

Along with that debut, I’m also very excited for the Food & Wine Festival coming to Tokyo DisneySea. That park is a perfect place to feature foods throughout the world. I’m eager to try some and see how elaborate the festival is. All of these events plus the opening of a massive expansion will make for a memorable 2024 at Tokyo Disney Resort!
